TrendMiner infrastructure overview

A TrendMiner installation consists of two components:
TrendMiner platform
TrendMiner Plant Integrations historian connector
The TrendMiner Platform includes the main TrendMiner software. TrendMiner Platform runs on Linux only. TrendMiner is provided in a pre-packaged Virtual Machine, based on CentOS Linux. This contains the TrendMiner applications, middleware and databases along with the required infrastructure. A web based management interface is included to allow system configuration. Updates to applications and the operating system are provided by TrendMiner.
Customers with an existing Linux environment can choose to install TrendMiner on their own image. TrendMiner supports:
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7
CentOS 7

TrendMiner Plant Integrations is a .NET web application. It provides a common API to the various historians supported by TrendMiner. The platform is installed on a Windows Server provided by the customer. End users access TrendMiner through their web browser.
