Remote backup/restore using Azure Blob Storage or an AWS S3 bucket
Perform a full system backup/restore for easier migration, securely stored on your own AWS S3 or Azure Blob storage.
Before starting the remote backup/restore procedure using Azure Blob Storage or AWS S3 please make sure the new server is set up correctly as specified on this page: Creation and configuration of the new TrendMiner server
Double check the following configuration to make sure the restore process can be executed successfully:
SSL is properly configured on the new server
NTP is properly configured on the new server
TrendMiner server name is properly configured on the new server
Both the old and the new server have exactly the same version, including the patch version, e.g. 2024.R2.0-05
