ConfigHub access
ConfigHub is accessible for all users who are assigned the system admin role. Read more about the different admin roles here and read more about how to configure these roles here.
Each user can update his/her password by logging in in any hub and accessing the account management menu in the profile dropdown on the top right:

To update the password select the 'Password' tab in the account management menu:

If none of the users has the system admin role there is a dedicated user with username 'admin' who always has access to ConfigHub and for which 2FA is enabled (mandatory).
The password of this admin account can be updated by logging in with the admin account and updating the password in the account management menu as documented above.
Password recovery
User passwords can be reset by any other user with the system admin role via ConfigHub -> Users -> search for user and open the user details -> update and save the password.
If there are no users with the system admin role who remember their password the hardcoded 'admin' user account can be used to restore access to ConfigHub or reset user passwords. If the password of the 'admin' user is lost or you do not have access to the 2FA code of the 'admin' account the access for the admin user can be restored via Edge Manager's ConfigHub recovery.
Tip
Store your new password securely in your company password manager. TrendMiner will not be able to recover lost passwords.
Tip
Password updates for the hardcoded 'admin' account can only be done via the account management, not via the user details screen.
Important
As of 2024.R1.0 the Edge Manager and ConfigHub login are separated. Changing the Edge Manager admin password will not change the ConfigHub admin password and the other way around.
