As of release 2024.R3.1 we're extending the “Software Subscription License and Cloud Services Agreement” with an addendum related to License Audit and Compliance.
What You Should Know
Audit Process & License Verification
The updated addendum clarifies the frequency and process for auditing the customers use of the Products. TrendMiner may now audit the license usage up to four (4) times per year or more, with reasonable notice. This process may include manual or automated audits of the TrendMiner Products, to verify compliance with the terms of the Agreement with no disruption to Customer operations.
Use of Product Data
The updated terms allow TrendMiner to use the collected License and Product Data in an anonymous form to improve products, services, and platform statistics.
This data is not linked to any users and remains anonymous. It includes aggregated information, such as the total number of active monitors, users, tags, dashboards, and more. If automated data collection is not possible, TrendMiner will request a manual data export from the customer.
What This Means for You
The updated Audit and Compliance Addendum will take effect on January 20th 2025. By installing version 2024.R3.1 and continuing to use our products or services after this date, you agree to the updated terms.
