Deprecation notices
MLM tags - The MLM Tags feature is deprecated as of 2026.R1 and is no longer supported. The MLM Tags feature will be progressively removed over the next releases: in 2026.R2, the MLM tag and engine will be removed, and by 2026.R3 the feature will be fully sunset. Dashboards and monitors will show warnings wherever MLM tags were in use.
MLHub Notebooks – The "Python With Visualization Libraries on Kubernetes (deprecated)" kernel will be removed in 2026.R2. After removal, notebooks that used this kernel will prompt the user to select a new kernel and DashHub tiles published with this kernel will automatically execute using the default kernel.
Canary 2023 - Canary Historian 2023 is deprecated as of 2026.R1. Full support will end in 2026.R3. Users are advised to upgrade to a supported Canary 2024 or 2025.
Honeywell PHD 410 - Deprecated as of 2026.R1. Full support will end in 2026.R3. Please upgrade to a supported version of PHD to ensure continued compatibility.
Proficy versions 7.0 SP4 and 8.1 - Deprecated as of 2026.R1. Full support will end in 2026.R3. Please upgrade to a supported version of Proficy to ensure continued compatibility.
PI AF SDK 2010 R3+ and 2017 R2 SP1 (time series connectivity): Deprecated as of 2026.R1. Full support will end in 2026.R3. Please upgrade to a supported version of PI AF SDK to ensure continued compatibility.
Yokogawa Exaquantum connectivity: Please note that the integration with Yokogawa Exaquantum versions 2.85 and 3.02 will be sunset as of the 2026.R2 release. We encourage upgrading to the latest versions of the Exaquantum historian to benefit from enhanced features and support.
Context SQL Sync: The Context SQL Sync is deprecated and will reach end of life in 2026.R3. We recommend migrating to our Generic JDBC / Generic ODBC provider. Since there is no easy migration path to move your current configuration into a new supported data source provider, TrendMiner Support will assist you with this migration free of charge. Please contact TrendMiner Support to get started.
PlantIntegration v5 - AppHost only: Legacy data providers (SQLite, ODBC, OleDB) are not supported in AppHost for PlantIntegration v5 and are sunset in 2026.R1. WebHost deployments of PlantIntegration v4/v5 are unaffected.
Work Organizer API:
Search endpoint (GET|POST /work/saveditem/search): This endpoint was deprecated in 2025.R4 and has been removed in this release. Use the dedicated search endpoints introduced in 2025.R4 instead:
my saved items (/work/saveditem/search/my-items)
my shared items (/work/saveditem/search/my-shared-items)
my recent items (/work/saveditem/search/my-recent-items)
admin search (/work/saveditem/search/admin)
Favorites endpoint (GET /work/favorite): This endpoint was deprecated in 2025.R4 and has been removed in this release. Use the my favorite items[TH1] endpoint GET /work/favorite/search) introduced in 2025.R4 instead.
