How to install third party JDBC drivers?

TrendMiner ships the JDBC drivers listed here: Time series connectivityTime series connectivity

For all of these the Generic JDBC provider works out of the box.

If another JDBC database driver is required, the following procedure can be used:

  • copy the JDBC driver jar to /mnt/data/tm-datasource/pluggable

    Note

    To copy the driver, access to the Linux console is needed. For TrendMiner virtual appliance deployments console access is restricted. If you are running TrendMiner as a virtual appliance, please contact TrendMiner support to install the third party driver.How to check if TrendMiner is deployed as a virtual appliance?

  • restart tm-datasource (via ConfigHub -> Services)

Important
