Dark mode
Dark Mode is now available in TrendMiner, giving you more flexibility to choose the visual style that fits your environment while supporting a wide range of users. Analysts and engineers benefit from improved comfort during intensive work, and operators gain better visibility in low light. With this update, TrendMiner adapts more naturally to how and where you work.
You can set TrendMiner to follow your system theme or manually choose light or dark mode. Light mode remains ideal for bright workspaces, while dark mode offers a comfortable low-glare experience that reduces eye strain during longer sessions or in dimmer conditions.
To keep visualizations clear, TrendMiner automatically adjusts selected colors when dark mode is active. This ensures that charts and dashboards remain readable and consistent, even when shared between users who work in different themes.
Improved Calculations and Unit Handling
Working with calculations is now more flexible and consistent thanks to these updates:
Unit support for Tag Builder Tags
You can now specify a unit when creating or editing tags in Tag Builder, including aggregations, formulas, PMML tags, custom calculations, and prediction tags.
Custom Time Unit for Integrals
When calculating integrals in the Statistics table or Compare layer, you can now choose the assumed time unit of the tag (day, hour, minute, second). The unit is reflected in the table headers.
Enhanced Calculations on Search Results
We’ve redesigned the way you add and manage calculations on search results to make the process more efficient.
The improved management options include:
Rearranging calculations by drag-and-drop.
Editing existing calculations with prefilled values.
Duplicating calculations to quickly create variations.
Deleting or adding new calculations, all from one dedicated modal.
In addition, when using the integral operator, you can now select the time unit of the source tag for more accurate results, eliminating the need for manual time-based corrections. These enhancements make it faster to define calculations and give you more unit flexibility to tailor the analysis to the context of your work.
Enhanced collaboration features that empower teams
Folder Sharing
TrendMiner now allows users to share folders with colleagues, enabling collaboration on entire collections of work. Shared folders help teams organize analyses, dashboards, and related items in a structured way so everyone can work from the same context and maintain consistency across projects.
Manage Permission
Owners can now delegate management responsibilities by granting Manage Permission to other users. This allows selected collaborators to help manage shared items and folders on behalf of the owner, making it easier to maintain shared content when several users contribute to the same area of work.
Transfer of Ownership
Users can now transfer ownership of their individual items to another user when responsibilities shift, or projects continue under new leadership. This ensures continuity and prevents knowledge from becoming blocked when roles change.
Together with previously released features such as sharing with user groups and the new item permission system, TrendMiner now offers a complete set of collaboration tools that support flexible teamwork and efficient content management.
Iframe embedding
With this release, TrendMiner dashboards can be shared more widely and embedded where they can be utilized seamlessly within existing work processes and tools.
TrendMiner now supports iframe embedding, allowing dashboards to be integrated directly into trusted third-party applications and internal portals. Embedded dashboards are presented in a clean, focused view without navigation elements or tile clickthrough, while still requiring users to log in for secure access. Administrators can manage the list of allowed domains in ConfigHub, ensuring that dashboards are only embedded in secure and approved environments.
One-Click TrendMiner Upgrades
Administrators can upgrade TrendMiner with one-click. No more downloading or uploading large upgrade files.
With the new downloadable upgrades, EdgeManager retrieves the latest release directly from TrendMiner’s secure repository, validates it, and installs it automatically. This eliminates upload failures, removes hours of waiting, and turns upgrading into a simple one-click operation.
The new in-place upgrade capability ensures a safer and smoother experience: EdgeManager performs validation, applies the update without manual file handling, and shows clear progress steps throughout the process.
Administrators can now upgrade to the latest TrendMiner version with minimal effort with a reliable workflow.
