How to migrate the connector to a different server?
This article explains how an existing connector can be moved to a different server. This procedure should not be used to copy/duplicate an existing connector as data sources (which are stored on the connector) should be unique per installation.
To move a connector:
Install the same version of the connector on the new server.
Copy the connector folder of the old server to the connector folder of the new server (and replace the files in there).
E.g. "C:\inetpub\PlantIntegrations"
Restart the connector application pool on the new server.
Change the connector details in ConfigHub to use the new server as the host.
Note
As an alternative the existing connector could be removed and the new one could be added but the preferred way is to edit the "host" field of the existing connector. This is easier and will not cause interruption of the connected data sources (assuming the new connector is set up correctly).
Sync the connector.
