Introduction
We have recently announced a new release of TrendMiner, 2021.R3.0.
This update procedure guides you through the process of upgrading from version 2021.R2, 2021.R2.1, 2021.R2.2 to version 2021.R3.0.
Warning
When upgrading from TrendMiner 2021.R1 or an older version, please upgrade to TrendMiner 2021.R2 first. Direct upgrades from 2021.R1 to 2021.R3.0 are not supported!
Important
TrendMiner version 2021.R3.0 is a mandatory release. This version should always be installed before installing a higher TrendMiner version.
Warning
Updates from 2021.R2.1 or 2021.R2.2 to 2021.R3.0 might result in a broken ConfigHub task queue. In case this happens, please contact TrendMiner support.

Customers not using our Virtual Appliance are advised to add ‘cgroup_disable=memory’ to their kernel command line.

Note: Please make sure that TrendMiner appliance meets the minimum system requirements before performing the upgrade. The upgrade is not possible otherwise. Please update the Plantintegration server first and then TrendMiner server.
