Linux Deployment
TrendMiner can be installed on CentOS 7 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7. Other distributions based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 might work but are not officially supported.
Requirements for a successful TrendMiner deployment and future upgrades:
TrendMiner's system requirements are met
Root permissions for installations and upgrades
A correctly configured /mnt/data mount for storage of TrendMiner data
Access to the official operating system repositories.
Install Ansible
Proper network configuration (IP address, DNS server, ...)
No other software should be installed on the server to avoid interference with TrendMiner.
These requirements are further elaborated in this documentation.
Note
TrendMiner currently does not support deploying a virtual disk (.ova or .vhd) in a private cloud.
