Introduction
This documentation is "self-service", and provides a full overview of the requirements for TrendMiner installation and configuration. All installation files can be downloaded from the TrendMiner download portal. To access this portal you need a login which you can get via your TrendMiner contact.
Attention
This documentation walks you through the steps required to set up a fully functioning TrendMiner environment. For self-hosted options, more initial configuration is required and more maintenance will be required, such as certificate management, etc. Additional input may be required from your organization's IT department, so it is advised to plan ahead accordingly.
TrendMiner will support issues, but will always point back to this documentation if steps were skipped or requirements are not met. If so desired, TrendMiner can also help with more hands-on support. Reach out to your contact to discuss pricing.
There are generally 4 steps to successfully complete a TrendMiner installation:
Install a TrendMiner server
Install the Plant Integrations module (generally only necessary for on-premise data sources)
Set up the connectivity to your data sources
Complete the application configuration in ConfigHub
