TrendMiner Server Installation
The TrendMiner Server is the heart and soul of the TrendMiner installation. It contains all algorithms, runs all calculations, and serves the Graphical User Interface to the end users and admins to interact with the software.
The TrendMiner server can be deployed in different ways. The first, and recommended option, is to run TrendMiner as a service. In this scenario, TrendMiner will run, maintain and update the platform as a SaaS instance.
If you prefer to run TrendMiner as a self-hosted option, there are a few different options.
TrendMiner offers a complete Virtual Appliance that can be imported in an existing virtualization environment. This is the preferred option for customers without deep Linux knowledge. Virtual appliance installation instructions can be found here: Virtual appliance deployment
Alternatively, TrendMiner can be installed on any CentOS 7 or Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 machine. Instructions on how to install TrendMiner on your own Linux OS (single node installation) can be found here: Linux Deployment
TrendMiner can also be directly acquired from a hyperscaler's marketplace
If you wish to set up a TrendMiner server in your own private cloud, based on a base CentOS7 or Red Hat image, then refer to the instructions here: TrendMiner in a Private Cloud environment
